Visual Exploration of Coexistence
New Human
This project explores the idea of the "New Human"—a being reshaped by the presence of viruses. Illustration is used to visualize the merging of senses and limbs, symbolizing adaptation and coevolution.
A custom typeface, inspired by bone-like organic forms in the illustration, reflects both fragility and resilience—echoing the tension between vulnerability and strength.
The work invites reflection on how we coexist with the microscopic world, challenging traditional perceptions and envisioning a future of balance between humans and viruses.
Exploring the language of evolution through typography
New Era Language (Font)
Derived from Edwardian Script and copperplate forms, each letter of the alphabet was reimagined as a flower—rotated, deconstructed, and reshaped into organic symbols. These floral forms intertwine with bones and cellular structures, blurring the boundaries between language and life.
Set against a frozen landscape, delicate blooms fracture the stillness, layered with skeletal textures that suggest both fragility and strength—an evolution suspended in time.
